Question 1:     
The mean of two numbers is 56 and the difference is 60. Calculate the product of the two numbers.
Question 2:     
8 kiwis and 7 limes cost £2.00 altogether. The total cost of 2 kiwis and 6 limes is £1.18. Calculate the cost of a kiwi and a lime.
Question 3:     
The sum of ages of a father and his son is 28. In 4 years time, the father will be 3 times older than the son. How old is each person at present?
Question 4:     
Rectangle A has a perimeter of 56cm. Rectangle B has a perimeter of 28cm with 2 times the length and one quarter the width of rectangle A. Calculate the area of each rectangle.
Question 5:     
A taxi firm charges a fixed amount per journey plus a cost for each mile travelled. A journey of 4 miles costs £21.90. A journey of 8 miles costs £40.30. How much would a journey of 3 miles cost?
