Charlie has 2 planks of wood, 242cm long and 352cm long. He wants to saw them into smaller pieces of wood for his crafts project. They must all be of equal length, with no wood wasted. What is the greatest length, in cm, that he can saw the planks into?

Emily has 28 lemon flavoured sweets, Elaine has 392 orange flavoured sweets and Becky has 224 peach flavoured sweets. They want to divide the sweets into trays of equal quantities, with no remainder. Each tray can only contain 1 flavour of sweets. What is the greatest number of sweets in each tray?

**Question 3:**

Oscar, Alfie and Becky are rehearsing music routines. Oscar takes 35 seconds to finish his drum routine, Alfie takes 175 seconds to finish his bass routine and Becky completes her piano routine in 245 seconds. They all start practising at the same time and keep repeating their routines when completed. How long would it take before they all finish at exactly the same time?

Oliver is decorating a rectangular room with square floor tiles. The room measures 189cm by 441cm. Oliver is using identical square floor tiles to cover the entire floor exactly. What is the largest size square tile he can use?

**Question 5:**

In a busy airport, aeroplanes from EZPlanes Airways depart every 300 minutes whilst aeroplanes from Bryanair Airlines depart every 450 minutes. If both airlines have aeroplanes departing at 08:30 when is the next time they will depart from the airport together again?
